The semifinal test was divided into 4 sections. First, we have to find 15 words from the scrambled letters in the box. Second, we have to arrange some words from six letters. Who could use all 6 letters to make a word gets the jackpot. Third was Idiom Analyze. We have to connect a short dialogue consisting of an idiom to the correct answer. Fourth, we were given a picture. We have to discuss it with our teammates and then describe the object or place on the picture to the juries.
After we finished all that, we waited in a classroom. I have calmed a little bit, relaxing my heart that was beating so fast when my teammate and I stood in front of the room and presentated our discussion. I can't remember the exact time they announced five teams that were in the big five, but the important thing was, we're IN! We were on the fourth positition. But sadly, two teams from my school didn't make it. The first place was from Petra 2, Fani and Michelle. Second was from SMPN 1 Sidoarjo, Maynura and Praditya. Third was from SMPN 1 Surabaya, Sella and Artha. Fourth was Sarah and me from SMPN 1 Surabaya. And the fifth was from SMPN 22 Surabaya, Stella and Osa. | |
